How God Manifests Himself Through People and Events

God's way of demonstrating his presence in the world is through people and events. The only historic event where he manifested himself in person was through his son, Jesus Christ.

Every day in our world new concrete evidence is presented to us that something miraculous exists that we cannot see or touch. That something is demonstrated to us by God through people and events.

There are so many examples of this, here are just a couple from off the top of my head. One time when I was about oh 16 years old, and I was starting to believe in God, I was having a lot of trouble opening my combination bike lock, I must have tried over 10 times to open it without success. My brother was with me and I said out loud Please God help me open this lock, I then got it right away after using the same technique that I was previously using.

Simple but true. When you believe in something enough it comes true, it is like the "Secret", imagine something happening to you and it does.

Here is an urban myth I saw on TV. This tv show gives you situations where you have to decide if it is an urban myth of if what they are telling you is true.

In this case a man was shot, and the bullet lodged itself just near his spinal chord. The man survived but the doctor's were unable to remove the bullet. One day the man went to a church with a friend, and the preacher was healing people. I don't generally believe in church healings as there is sometimes a lot of trickery in it. But for some people it can work depending on the illness and how much belief the person has. Anyways the guy goes before the preacher and the preacher puts his hands on the guy and tells him he is being healed. The man trembles and the bullet comes out of his mouth. Further reports proove that this is the bullet that was shot from the gun he was shot with. This is a true story.

God demonstrates his existance every day in little and sometimes in very big ways. You just have to recognize it. You think of someone and then 3 seconds later the phone rings and it is that person. Telepathy, coincidence, or God's intervention. You decide.

In my opinion God has chosen people and events to show that he is here. It is the best way. When your spouse leaves you and you feel blue, isn't it funny that you will most likely hear break up songs on the radio, and the words fit your situation exactly.

Or you feel really good on any given day and all you hear are happy songs. God is like energy that plays out in our lives. He can bring miracles or disasters, but if you look close enough you will discover that there is a good reason for every thing he brings into your life.
