Yes, God is an unseen energy that is highly intelligent and always ready to encourage growth and positive change. God is kind of like water that surrounds us, whatever you think or do affects that water that surrounds you, so God feels whatever you feel or think. Each thought that you think is a little burst of mental energy that is unseen yet physically present. God feels all things and only wants us to feel his will for us, which is basically good feelings and growth in all aspects of our lives. God does not at all wish anyone to eternal damnation, that is non-sense. God only feels and thinks positive and constructive thoughts and feelings.
